Sunshine Award!!!!!!

On Monday, September 15, 2003, the News 2 Houston Sunshine Award was presented to our Plant Operator, Ms. Sanchez and her Staff. The nomination came from Mr. Ortiz in the form of this message:

"I would like to nominate Ms. Sanchez for her great work at Stevenson Middle School. Ms. Sanchez and her staff work long hours and after all this she continues to smile, and speak to teachers, students, and adults with a listening ear.
Ms. Sanchez keeps our building clean and safe for our students.
Thanks to Ms. Sanchez."

The Football team, Volleyball Team, Karate Demo Team, International Dancers, Cheerleading Squad and Mr. Ortiz's class  were on the field at 8:30 AM to join meteorologist Wes Hohenstein when he presented the award.

Congratulations to Ms. Sanchez and her well-deserving crew from all of us at W.I. Stevenson Middle School. You are truly appreciated.
