Aerospace Science

Students study the history of flight. They design, build, and fly aerospace vehicles, including gliders, hot air balloons, and rockets. They apply to become Revere astronauts. Through simulation exercises Revere astronauts role play specific jobs in space while flying in the Revere shuttle simulator. Shuttle missions are flown throughout the year.


Exploratory Science

Students explore the world of the science through the use of computers. some of the topics explored are Chemicals in Food, Atmospheric Conditions, and Jason Explorations. They create possible solutions for current issues. Using computer graphic, they collect, graph, and analyze data. Emphasis is on aquatic science.

Odyssey of the Mind

Students develop creative thinking skills by working in teams of seven to solve one of five long term problems. The teams learn how to solve spontaneous problems by creating multiple answers in a limited amount of time. OM Teams present long term solutions to judges who look for creative ideas in costuming, skit presentations, engineering skills and team member interactions.
