1. All students should develop student binders that document skills taught.
The binders should include notes, homework, and practice
sections.
2. Students should indicate name, date, and
title as a standard heading on all class entries.
3. Students are assigned homework. Homework is
graded and feedback is provided.
4. Students speak and write using complete
sentences.
5. Binders should be reviewed frequently by
teachers for comments and feedback.
6. Administrators will review student binders as
documentation of instructional program implementation.
7. Please allow students 5-10 minutes to make
journal entries each day as an opening routine.
8. Students write down homework assignments
daily in student planners.
9.
Language Arts teachers will maintain student portfolio's of writing. The folders
will be passed to the next grade level.
10. Student work products will be submitted each
six weeks.
