Burbank Middle School currently serves over 1,200 students. The
school population is 89% Hispanic, 9% African-American, and 2%
other. In the 2006-2007 school year, BMS earned a TEA "Recognized" academic rating. We take pride in offering many outstanding programs to address our students' individual needs.
Among these programs you will find: VENTANAS-Dual Language/ESL,Vanguard Magnet Program (which constitutes 10% of our student total enrollment), Special Ed, Electives, and others. Burbank hosts a wonderful learning community where together:
parents, students, and staff will make our students reach the
maximum potential in all areas of their development.
