More Interesting Facts

Back by popular demand. A couple more weeks have past and we have learned
more interesting things about each other. Here is a list of the latest
things we’ve learned. (Not all the players are here, because not all of them
came to practice enough.)
1. One time, Diosel Rivera got a speeding ticket on the way to school.
What’s impressive about that? Diosel Rivera walks to school.
2. Armando “Mando” Guerrero is so strong, that once he was getting a tattoo
and the tattoo said, “Ouch, jeez this Armando hurts”.
3. Cristobal Campos is so good at soccer, he scored three goals in the first
half of our last game and he didn’t even play in the first half.
4. Luis Gonzalez once brought a kitten back to life simply by cuddling it
next to his mustache.
5. Ever “Rabbit” Saucedo is smart. Very smart. He once turned in a math test
with only a picture of duck and an outline of his hand drawn on the front.
He got a 100%.
6. Paul Serrano can name all 54 states. I know what you are thinking, “But
Coach, there are only 50 states.” Paul Serrano can see the future.
7. If you are being attacked by a bear, you are supposed to lay down and
play dead and you may survive. If you are attacked by a shark, you should
stick your fingers into its eyes and he may swim away. But if you are
attacked by Gerardo “G” Mondragon, well, it was nice knowing you.
8. Juan Llanas invented the internet. (and by “invented” I mean, “likes to
play on”)
9. Giovanny “Penguin” Villanueva knows everyone on myspace.com. Everyone.
10. Antonio “Tony” Salgado doesn’t wash his hands. It’s not because he is
dirty, it’s because he is so mean that even germs are afraid to mess with
him.
11. Josue “Salva” Salvatierra is so strong, when he gets hot, he doesn’t
turn the air conditioning down, he turns the sun down.
12. Eugenio Munoa is so tough, he uses jalapeńo juice and tiny pieces of
glass as eye drops.
13. Johnathon “Grandma” Silva once got into a staring contest with the sun.
And won.
14. Gustavo “Baby Goose” Reyes doesn’t wear shin guards to protect his
shins. He wears them to protect other people’s shins from his.
15. This may be a rumor, but I heard that if you type in
www.joegrande.com on the
internet and look at the web page, six days later your brain will melt. For
real. Don’t try it.
16. If Andrik Najera gets his glasses knocked off his face, then a laser
shoots out of his eyes like Cyclops from the X-Men. Seriously. A laser. A
friggin’ laser!
17. Gustavo “Mama Goose” Ocampo saw Tupac at the Foodarama by Chavez High
School buying shampoo.
