STEVENSON DRESS CODE POLICY FOR STUDENTS
2007 - 2008

We believe that school and personal pride is developed through achievement in academic endeavors, success in extracurricular activities, and acceptance of mature and responsible social actions.  We believe that a student’s school and personal pride is expressed in their dress and grooming.  We seek to encourage a positive presentation of each student’s self-image by establishing this dress code and these growing expectations.

Student’s whose items and/or manner of grooming may cause disruption of the educational process, are breaking school rules and will be referred for disciplinary action.

Initial disciplinary action will include a telephone call to parents requesting them to bring the appropriate clothing to school.
