W.I. Stevenson Middle School has been selected as the winner of the Outstanding Campus (School) Volunteer Program Award in the Southeast District. This award honors Stevenson's volunteer program for its exemplary service during the 2001-2002 school year. 

The award was presented at the HISD's annual Salute to School Volunteers which was held on Thursday, April 11, 2002, at the Power Center.

Attending were Sandra Valdez-Project Reconnect Parent Educator, Rogelia Guillen -Parent Volunteer, and Robert Pambello, Principal of Stevenson Middle School.
