"A Promise Made is a Promise Kept"

7^th grade Pre-AP cluster leader, James H. Blake challenged the 7^th grade Pre-AP/ GT cluster to achieve at least a 95 percent passing rate on this year's Reading and Math TAAS tests.

The students surpassed expectations and achieved a 97.5 percent passing rate. True to his word, Mr. Blake colored and spiked his hair a shocking pink to satisfy the challenge he issued to the students.

Mr. Robert Pambello, Principal of W.I. Stevenson Middle School expressed jovial appreciation for Mr. Blake's cluster’s effort in raising student scores and expectations.

Last year at this time, Mr. Blake’s cluster did so well that he had his head shaved in appreciation.
