Out of Many, One

The HISD Social Studies department invited secondary schools to submit student artwork, personal essays and poetry to illustrate some aspect of freedom in the United States. This contest is part of our observance of Celebrate Freedom Week, and selected submissions will become the centerpiece of HISD's kick-off celebration of American Heritage Month in November.

The following are pictures of the student work entered by Stevenson Middle School students.
