Mr. Tommy Harper-6 Traits of Writing

Stevenson Middle School received a welcome visit from Mr. Tommy

Harper, an educational consultant on writing, Thursday, October 17

and Friday, October 18. During his visit, Mr. Harper conducted

several informative mini workshops on the 6 Traits of Writing and

visited several classrooms.

As an educator, Mr. Harper taught English and History for many

years in the Tucson Unified School District. After retiring in 1999, he

became affiliated with the Salpoint Catholic Prep School as a part-time

teacher, as well as a consultant on the teaching of writing on the

middle and high school levels.
