CIS

Changing the World, One Child at a Time!

CIS has been a part of Houston's schools for almost 20 years and is well known among the city's teachers and principals as a program that does make a difference.  We receive funding and support from the school districts we serve, the state of Texas, the federal government, and hundreds of local corporations, businesses and institutions.  We have a reputation for success because we can call upon so many friends to provide us--and our students--with what we need.

CIS is...

• Dedicated to helping children succeed in school and in life
• Here to give children what they need to stay in school, graduate and go to successful careers.
• Aware of the challenges children face and able to serve them right.
• Linked to many community partners so we can refer families to the services they need.

We are here to give your child what he or she needs to succeed:

• Tutoring in Math or Reading.
• Support with other class work.
• Help finding a job for older students.
