In the morning of April 21st, about 750 Texans were facing about 1500 Mexicans. Sam Houston ordered Deaf Smith and a few scouts to burn down Vince's bridge. This cut off the only available escape route for Mexicans. The brave soldiers are waiting for Sam Houston to give out the command to defeat the Mexicans, but Sam Houston did not give any command until the Mexicans are taking a nap. After Sam Houston gave out the command, every single Texans charge forward and shouted "Remember the Alamo" and "Remember Goliad". Ten minutes passed 700 Mexicans were killed,and 730 Mexicans were captured by the Texans. The battle for Texas was won.
