Mission Statement

 

PAUL REVERE MIDDLE SCHOOL

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Paul Revere Middle School is to provide a safe and healthy educational climate in which all students will improve and achieve an academic, emotional, social, and physical balance. We will foster a cooperative relationship involving home, school, and community so students will develop positive self-concepts and succeed as citizens and leaders.

CAMPUS GOALS

Increase Student Achievement

  1. Student attendance will increase to 97%
  2. Student drop out rate will be maintained at less than .5%.
  3. 95% of all Revere students will meet minimum expectations on all parts of the state TAAS exam.
  4. 95% of all Revere students will meet grade level expectations on the Stanford exams.
  5. The difference in test scores for different sub groups will be reduced to less than 10%.
  6. 95% of all Revere students will meet minimum classroom expectations to earn passing grades in their classes.

Improve School Climate / Positive District Culture

  1. Staff attendance will improve by 10%.
  2. Student referrals for off task behavior will decrease.

Management Efficiency

  1. Reduce text book losses by 25%.
  2. Streamline curriculum development and assessment.
  3. Balance the master schedule.
  4. All student folders and documentation will be up to date and accurate.

Public Support and Confidence in Schools

  1. Host two academic related parent nights during the school year.
  2. Communicate to parents and community through a variety of media.
  3. Expand the community and business partnership programs.
  4. Provide a quality afterschool program for students.

Increase Violence Prevention and Intervention on Campus

  1. All students will receive information/instruction designed to reduce the use of tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs.
  2. All students will receive information/instruction designed to reduce violence and improve school safety.
  3. Parents and community will receive information designed to increase their involvement in school activities.
