Attendees:  :  Diana De La Rosa, Shannon Williams, Kendall Bailey, Daniel Sheppard, Evelyn Shephard, Jill Bailer, Franz Hill, Ellen Butler, Ada Dolphus, Patty Conway, Tony Hoyt, Joanna Foreman, David Williams 

Old business: 11-17-04 minutes were read and approved.  Status of Teacher Retention Surveys progress reviewed.  Mr. Hoyt reported he had received over 50 responses from teachers and made revisions accordingly.  Mr. Hoyt reported that Mr. Ary was willing to administer the survey in a true scientific random sampling because it would fulfill a graduate school requirement 

Ms. Conway and other members pointed out that there were still problems with the survey.  Ms. De La Rosa proposed a motion to postpone the survey until the New Year and that another committee be formed to finalize the survey questions.  Ms. Bailer added that  distribution and completion of the survey be January 3rd, our next inservice date.

Ms. De La Rosa, Ms. Conway, Ms. Bailer, and Mr. Hill voted for the postponement and committee formation motion. 

Mr. D. Williams proposed a second motion to accept the current survey due to the fact that it had been over 2 months since it was first proposed. 

Mr. Williams, Mr. Hoyt, and Ms. Foreman voted for the second motion.

All other committee members abstained from voting and the first motion of postponement and committee formation motion was passed by  a vote of 4 to 3.

New business:
There was no new business.  All agreed to table any other issues until the December meeting due to the required committee inservice 11/17/04
