Welcome to Holland Middle School
My name is Brian McDonald, Principal of Holland Middle School, and I will be your host.

The 2005-2006 school year will be an exciting time for us here at Holland. We have set a goal for ourselves, to be rated exemplary by the State of Texas. We strongly believe that we can be the best middle school in the Houston Independent School District.

We will focus in on how instruction is delivered in the classroom and we will monitor your children's mastery of the objective taught. If they have not mastered the objectives, we will work with them until they have.

We will also try to bring exciting new pro-grams to the school that your children will enjoy and learn from. We intend to start a journalism program as well as a performing arts program. Over time we intend to have programs in place that will prepare your children for the world in which they will live as adults.
