Middle School's Math, Science, and Technology Magnet Program
promotes
teamwork, encourages problem solving, and participates in
Robotics competitions to extraordinary
success. Students in Hogg's Magnet program get to build robots
using Lego Mindstorms in a
dedicated laboratory that has all the tools and equipment needed
to prepare for the FIRST
Lego League Tournament. They get to participate in BEST Robotics
Tournament and also build
a robot from scratch in order to participate in FIRST, learning
how to use power tools in the
process. They also have an award-winning website. Check it out! http://hoggzilla.com

be possible without the hard work and dedication of Hogg's
Robotics teacher,
Mr. Juan Salinas. He has had the invaluable
assistance of Hogg's teachers Ms. Michele Williams
and Ms. Ashley Farrell in preparing the students
for this competition. And let's not forget our P4L
Coordinator, Mrs. Letti Partida, who has always been 100%
there for Hogg Robotics!
