telephones and beepers |
| The
unauthorized operation or use of paging devices, beepers, cellular
telephones, electronic pagers, or any other type of electronic
communication system on school campuses or at functions during
school hours in a manner that disrupts the educational process is
unacceptable.
At Hogg Middle
School, cellular phones may be used outside of the building
before 8:20 a.m. and after 4:06 p.m.
In addition to
disciplinary action, the unauthorized operation of such devices
will result in confiscation. The principal or other administrator
will notify the parent and a $15 administrative fee payable
to HISD will be charged. After 30 days Property Management will
dispose the device. |

notified over the intercom and asked to
send the child to the main office. Students
must be sent with a permit. Parents
cannot got o a classroom to pick up a child.
All visitors must have a visitor's pass. If they do not, staff
members will stop them and
direct them to the main office.
If a staff member is uncomfortable or feels threatened in any
way, he/she will press the
emergency button located in all of the
classrooms and offices.
If a parent or guardian must pick up a child from the
