Treasurer’s Report

Treasurer report was given by Ms. Rosales.  We have a balance of $657.63.  This increase is due to funds raised at the Travis Fall Festival and membership dues that have been turned in.  Ms. Rosales has applied for a TAX Exempt Id number and we are ready to open a bank account.  Ms. Rosales and Ms. Perez will do so by next week.

New Business

Members of the Board

Ms. Mendez and Ms. Limon have resigned their positions on the board.  That leaves the position of secretary and membership chair open.  New nominations and elections will be held at the next general meeting.

 School Directory

The directory is almost ready but may not be on sale till the week after Thanksgiving.  Letters have been mailed out to parents to notify them of the project and to allow for them to decline permission for their information to be published.  The price of the directory has been increased to $3.00.

 Membership Drive

Ms. Rosales will host a booth on Thursday, November 8^th at the Viva Technology to try and boost membership.  Ms. Rosales and Ms. Perez will work to promote the pizza contest amongst the students by making announcements and posting posters.

 Winter Ball

Hogg MS PTO will host a formal Winter Ball Friday, December 14^th from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm as a fundraiser.  Ms. Rosales and Ms. Perez will work to get donations of food and drinks.  Ms. Floyd and Ms. Medrano will make tickets and publicize the event.  Ms. Perez will talk to Mr. Salinas to see if the robotics students will DJ the event. 

Upcoming

General Meeting November 28^th from 5:00 to 6:00 will be held in auditorium.  Corporal Billy Davis will attend along with a Spanish speaking officer to give us additional information regarding Gang Awareness.
