The indicator (and plan to accomplish it) needs to be clearly stated In language easily understood by the faculty.
Plan must identify the person with overall responsibility
Plan needs to clearly state the responsibility of the design team (what will it do); cluster teams (what will they do); and individual teachers (what will each teacher do).
Timeline - when will it be accomplished and when are you going to collect data to determine progress?
Plan needs to identify the data to be collected, when, and what you are going to do with it.

Clearly State Your Indicator	Describe Current Status of the School Related to the Indicator
100% of the faculty will be able to identify and use a quality rubric by December 2000.	Our reporting systems are still based on report cards and letter grades. The district rates the success of students and schools based upon standardization tests. There is little room for flexible assessment. Our reporting system has little useful information about student achievement.
What key changes will occur as a result of meeting this indicator? (How will you know that meeting this indicator has made a difference?)
Teachers will not solely rely on one method of assessment. There will be a greater participation because teachers will be comfortable with the rubric evaluation process. Students will know ahead of time what is expected. Students will have more ownership in the evaluation process thus generating a greater feeling of success for students.

Who has primary responsibility for overseeing the implementation of the indicator? D. Mulet and R. Bunnell

What is the timeline for implementation? (When will data be collected? When is implementation progress to be reviewed? What are expectations after 2 months, 4 months, etc.) Set up a calendar for reviewing and reporting findings.
