What is a WOW? For kids, there's nothing like the burst of pride and self-confidence they feel when an adult looks at their work and says, "Wow!" At Citizen Schools, a Wow is what students produce through their apprenticeships: high-quality, real-world products or performances that have value to the community. "Wow!" That's what adults say when they see the high-quality, real-world products created by our apprentices. We hear "Wow!" so often that we refer to those products and performances as Wows.
