- Volunteer of the Year!!
End of course exams are THIS WEEK for many
of our students. Please make sure students are on time, well rested, and
have had a good breakfast every day. Tuesday, May 6th will be 6th and 8th
grade Language Arts. Wednesday, May 7th, is 7th grade Language Arts, and
6th, 7th, and 8th grade Math. Thursday, May 8th, is 6th, 7th, and 8th
grade Language Arts, and 6th grade Science.
8th Grade Activities are quickly approaching. We need
parent volunteers to attend the excursion and help organize and decorate
for the dance. Every 8th grader is responsible for $25.00 in
dues to participate. This money (cash or money order only) is due to the
students’ English teacher by May 5th.

Band Members - Mark your calendars for rehearsals,
performances and concerts! May 5 - Beginning and Advanced Band
from 3:15 - 5:30 (gym/cafe) AND performance with the Lee Fine Arts Band at
6pm (cafe); May 6 - ALL Bands report at 6pm
for the Spring Concert at 7pm (in the gym).
The
Grady
Library is collecting Box Tops for Education. Please
clip and save your box tops
and then send them in an envelope to Ms. Cox.
You can drop them off at the front office for her.
Would you like to visit Washington, D.C.? Grady
students will have such an opportunity in January of 2009 - during the
Presidential Inauguration.
