Exporting Progress Report Grades

Preparing Gradebook
  1. Open IGPRO, make sure that your grade book is in IGP_Data folder.
  2. You should have entered grades on the cycle 2 weighted or total points spreadsheet. If you do not have a Cycle 2 weighted spreadsheet, then you need to create one.
  3. Make sure that you have entered grades for all of your students in each of the classes you are currently teaching.
  4. Select your first section (class period) from the Class box.
  5. Select Cycle 2 Progress Reports [endterm 10/23/2007] from the Spreadsheet drop down box.
  6. Right Click on Mark and Select Replace Task.
  7. Select Cycle 2 (Numeric Weighted or Total Points Type) spreadsheet that has all of your grades in it, then click Next.
  8. Select Cycle 2 Spreadsheet Grade (usually the first item in the list), then click Next.
  9. Select Raw Score, then Click on Next.
  10. Click on OK.
  11. You should see grades for all of your students.
  12. Look at the grades! Make sure that no grade is below a 50 or greater than 100. If a grade is below 50, change it to 50. If a grade is over 100, change it to 100. ( You might want to check your Cycle 1 spreadsheet to make sure you did not make a mistake entering your grades.)
  13. Click on Citizenship and enter a conduct grade for each of your students. (E-excellent; S-Satisfactory; P-Poor; U-Unsatisfactory) Note: You can not give a P or a U without documentation in office.
  14. DO NOT ENTER ATTENDANCE INFORMATION ON THIS SCREEN.

Repeat the above steps for all your class periods.

  5. If you get a warning message, STOP, READ the message (take notes if necessary!). To correct the error messages, go to that class period and fix the problem. If you can’t figure it out, get help! DO NOT continue the Export. EXCEPTION: Warning about invalid teacher number, click Continue with Export anyway.
  6. If there is no warning message, click on Export.
  7. Make sure your teacher number folder in the s:\IGP_Data folder is selected. If you are not sure about your official teacher number, ask Brenda Dwyer or Ms. Meza but DO NOT change the number folder. Then click on OK. If you do not see a list of NUMBERED folders, you are not exporting to the server -- get help! Cancel the export!
  8. View the error log to see if there are errors that you should correct.

Congratulations! You are FINISHED. It would also be a good idea to save a copy to a floppy disk.
