| I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. After graduating from Eastwood High School (Home of the Mighty Troopers), I attended Texas A&M University, where I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. I began my teaching career in Houston in January of 1993 and became a part of the Burbank family in August of 1997. I’ve spent the last sixteen years teaching and learning about teaching. When I am not instructing or preparing lessons for instruction, I enjoy relaxing, eating out and exploring new and interesting places. As a member of the Tiger Cluster, I work relentlessly to encourage my students to adhere to rigorous academic standards. I believe that the success of the students is the responsibility of the team; therefore, I work collaboratively with my colleagues, parents and students to ensure that success.
