Introduction:
Hello, my name is Amanda Vasquez. I am a sixth grade English teacher and for the past six years, I have worked with middle school students alongside Burbank’s most excellent teachers. My experience and dedication to children has led me to pursue this career in education. Working with teachers and students, I have learned that it takes hard work, commitment, and effort to meet the needs of students’ diverse learning abilities. I am excited and look forward to a successful school year.

was born and raised in Houston, Texas.
I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the
University of Houston-Downtown. I enjoy
working with students, singing, and playing soccer. My goal in life is to make a difference in my students’
lives!
