Hello, my name is Alberto Mendoza, I’m from Mexico where I obtained my
college degree as a Doctor Veterinarian at the Universidad de Tamaulipas. I practiced for several years until I moved to Houston in 1991. I had the opportunity
to work at the Houston Zoo in different sections including the education department where I developed the Spanish lesson and curriculums; moreover I was responsible for developing conservation projects and management training programs for zoos in
Latin America where I had the opportunity to work in most of the countries in this region.

I’m bringing all my experience as a professional instructor to the Burbank Middle school and presenting real life situations related to science. “Science is
everywhere”. My belief is that all students can learn.  I encourage parents to get involved in their child's education by checking their child's work at home. I’m
also a parent of two teenagers, and my wife is and educator as well. 

Tutorial schedule: 8^th grade Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45pm to 4:45pm.
