I have been teaching for 8 years. I have been in HISD, Technology, for 23 years. I am a Business Education, Keyboarding teacher. I have a BBA degree in Administrative Management Systems from Texas Southern University. I have taught at Jack Yates High School to incoming 9th graders, 10th and 11th graders. Keyboarding is a High School for credit course. There is an exam that will be administered at the end of the semester in which you will score 75 or better. If this score is obtained, you will receive .50 credits for the course. You will not have to take this course again in High School. It is required to graduate from high school. My goal for my students is to become successful business leaders and become a success in education.
I teach Science tutorials to 8th graders on Tuesday and Thursday from
3:45 to 4:45.
