Welcome to Ms. Lewis’ 6th grade math class!
I am a native of Houston, TX. I attended Klein Forest High School
and graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown. I have a
background in Trust Accounting and worked for KPMG, LLP for 3
years. I pursued a teaching career in 2004 and I am part of the
HISD-ACP. I enjoy teaching math here at Burbank Middle School. I am
a team member of the Panther Cluster. In my spare time, I like to
read novels and write poetry. I hope to one day write a bestselling
novel. I am a dedicated teacher and my goal is to present math to
students so that it is not intimidating to them. I want to get
students to attain skills that will help them perform at their highest
level in math and other subjects.
My tutorial
times are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 7:15 to 8:00 am and from
3:45 to 4:45. Wednesdays from 7:15am to 8:00am.
