I graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in
Mathematics/Secondary Education and began my teaching career as a high
school Algebra 1 and Consumer Math instructor. I later move to middle
school where I taught 7th and 8th grades. I left
teaching shortly after to pursue a career in Accounting. I earned my
Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1995 and worked in the corporate
world for several years. However, my passion for teaching overtook my
love for Accounting and I returned to Middle School in 2005. For the past
two years, I have taught Algebra 1, 7th and 8th
grade regular and advanced classes and have tutored 6th, 7th
and 8th grades while residing in Tampa, Florida.
I believe all
students can learn, so I try to instill an attitude for success in all my
students and pray that they would all realize their full potential. My
class motto is “Excellence is not an act, but a habit. Therefore, strive
for excellence”.
