About the Teacher
I am a graduate of Texas Southern University, with a BA in Psychology.
I received my Teacher’s Certification from St. Thomas University in Special Education through HISD Alternative Certification Program. I constantly seek new and creative ways to engage students through professional development.
I have taught at Burbank for seven years. I have been a Life Skills Teacher four years. My previous work experience includes the Children’s Protective Services,
DePelchin’s Children Center, San Antonio State School, and Assistant Living Facilities for the Mentally Disabled.
