    Keyboarding

Course Objectives:    Intro to Keyboarding course is designed to prepare students for challenges they will face in the business world.   Student will finish this course with a general knowledge of basic Keyboarding and document preparation. The course will emphasize computer skills, portfolio development, vocabulary enrichment, and projects that encourage teamwork and practical application of knowledge.

 

 

 

Course Goals:

Students will be encouraged to use all the content areas:  English, Math, Science, Reading, and Social Studies:

          To key all letter keys by touch, using correct fingering.

bullet

          To locate and use correctly the machine parts.

bullet

To key with good techniques and form, paying particular attention to posture.
